Cobbly Nob is east of Gatlinburg on Highway 321. Cobbly Nob is a private community that sits on a 1000-acre resort surrounded by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The community is home to Bent Creek, an 18-hole golf course, which stretches along the highway. The homes in the community offer some of the best scenic views in the county. The community association oversees development restrictions, provides a security force, and maintains the three swimming pools, tennis courts, and roads.
Perhaps the biggest perk of Cobbly Nob is the fact that it is accessible with out having to travel through the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg traffic. You can enter from the east off I-40 via Highway 321 either from Newport or the Foothills Parkway and get a spectacular preview of the National Park's beauty.
